Constructive-technological development and implementation of processes for hydrogennon-permeable pipe and connection systems
Abstract

This project aims at the constructive-technological development and implementation of processes for coating of tube inliners and fittings, e.g., twin or single ferrule fittings as well as cone and thread fittings with hydrogen barrier coatings based on h-BN and metal oxides, i.e., Al2O3, with lowest hydrogen permeabilities down to 10-13-10-18 mol∙s-1∙m-1∙Pa-0.5 for wide range of working pressure (up to 700 bar) and temperatures up to 200 °C, and to develop nanomaterials based sensors for long-term hydrogen permeability monitoring with highest sensitivity (ppb) and selectivity enabled by AI to discriminate the detection of hydrogen, among other gases and moisture.
